In tribute to the late great Vivienne Westwood, this category pays homage to the wildest fashion and makeup movement of the 20th Century. Do your research well to understand what attracted its devotees in the 1970s and continues to inspire and captivate ever since.
Both male and female models are permitted, and you can work on yourself, if you wish. Style your model to complete your look, with great looking hair to reflect your creation. Your design must be a physical makeup and the work of your own hands. Do your research well. Only professional paint, make-up products, adhesives and removers may be used.
Your compulsory Mood Board is a visual demonstration of your thought process, illustrating your character and the make-up design you have chosen. It is worth up to 10% of the marks. You’ll present your character to our judges.
You’ll be judged on your interpretation of theme, design inspiration and attention to detail. It’s your skill and creativity with makeup that will win the day here.
