If you’ve always fancied yourself on Drag Race, now’s your chance to impress our judges. Your design must be a physical makeup and the work of your own hands. Do your research well and incorporate colour and strong images. Work on yourself or a model, whichever you wish.
The character you create should have a strong backstory and your skills with the brushes will bring their personality to the forefront. Ensure your choice of costume is in keeping with the personality of your creation and be prepared to explain your inspiration to our judges.
You’ll be judged on your interpretation of theme, design inspiration and attention to detail. It’s your skill and creativity with makeup that will win the day here. Only professional paint, make-up products, adhesives and removers may be used.
Your compulsory Mood Board is a visual demonstration of your thought process, illustrating your character and the make-up design you have chosen. It is worth up to 10% of the marks. You’ll present your character to our judges.
