The Show's ethos is to support UK professional and aspiring makeup artists and to give them the opportunity to meet and interact with the best of the business and to also learn from the Masters the latest techniques and products available to pursue their careers, at the same time opening up the experience to international makeup artists. In doing so we aim to provide a forum whereby professional makeup artists can express opinions or float ideas on how they see the industry progressing and in doing so, help formulate the best of the industry positives for future growth.

We do not offer an overly packed environment of non makeup industry consumers hoping to shop for a cheap deal but provide a rich environment of liked minded people from the makeup world.

To further support the industry, we are offering a number of smaller booth spaces to help company's who previously could not afford to exhibit in the past participate in the show.

A limited number of VIP tickets for ‘Guest’ invitations will be provided to exhibitors who take a 6m x 6m or larger booth space, at no extra cost and printed with the specific company logo if required. (Logos must be provided by August 1st at the latest to incorporate printing and delivery schedules.)

Marketing opportunities are available via the UMAe website, in the Trade Show programme and around the venue for exhibitors to promote their brand.

Business Directory Listings
A feature we introduced last year, as an extra service to businesses and artists, is an online Business Directory located on the UMAe website. If you would like your particulars listing Free of Charge we would be happy to promote you. Click here to register

Portfolio reviews
Our Guest Speakers will be available throughout the Show to offer support and advice, as well as portfolio reviews on a one to one basis. Details of the review service will be made available nearer to the Show dates via the UMAe website.

Work Shops
Another new feature we have introduced having listened to feedback from artists, is for access to more "hands on" experience. With this in mind we have taken space to enable exhibitors to provide interactive work shop experiences at no extra charge. Slots are allocated on a "first come" basis and workshops must allow artists to interact with the demonstrators.

Education
This year we will have 3 dedicated areas for exhibitors to provide tutorials over the 2 day show period. Times will be divided into 45 min slots, booked on a "first come" basis and details must be provided in advance, (No later than September 25th) The show organiser will have the discretion to change times where necessary to ensure the smooth running of the event.

General Information

Show Build will commence from 8.30am on Friday the 12th October 2018 until 10.00pm.

Show Take down will commence from 16.45pm on Sunday the 14th October 2018 until 10.00pm. Exhibitors must not dismantle or start to take down any of their stand before this time.

During the Show a shared storage room will be provided to safely store any surplus stock or items of importance. The space will need to be booked in advanced online and is charged at £50 per sqm

Full security and medical personnel will be on hand throughout the event.

For exhibitors requiring logistical help we are able to provide contacts, support and access to local couriers.

For overseas exhibitors, help will be available with organising shipping agents and logistics before and after the Show. This has proved a very popular service.

To assist with ‘end of show’ breakdown deadlines UMAe has 'Hands for hire’ can be made available for a small fee. Please notify us as soon as possible if you wish to avail yourself of this opportunity.
